This cake was the final cake for WiltonI . It is chocolate devils food with buttercream icing. I had a real hard time making roses, so I left them off the cake. Donald, dear husband, took it in to work and it was immediately consumed. They were all so glad I was taking this class because they were the weekly recipiants of my efforts.

I always had so much fun decorating my kid's birthday cakes, but then they got older and wanted to do their own decorating. Not wanting to squash their creativity, I stepped back and let them do it. That was hard because, I have my ways and they had theirs.
Recently, I took a Wilton cake decorating class and rediscovered my love for decorating. Who knows? Perhaps this is my new career path, I shall see where it leads.
